Wordless Wednesday 18 July

Our yard is covered in sycamore tree seeds at the moment.  They are just facinating seeds to look at and watch.

I love these seeds too. We picked some up yesterday during our walk to the park. We love throwing them up into the air and watchthem helicopter to the ground!

Absolutely beautiful, Tamara. Love how the sunlight has captured their unique shapes.

I remember playing with these as a child. We used to call them helicopters due to the way they fell to the ground :)

My children live throwing these in the air & watching them "fly". I love the way sunlight bounces off them in this pic. x

Are they native to NZ Tamara? I've never seen them before either but definitely intriguing! :)
